Change date-time format for blog entries?

The date-time format for blog entries is Ddd, Mmm dd, yyyy h:mm:ss AM/PM (e.g., Monday, October 25, 2010 5:59:00 PM). Is it possible to a) a) suppress the day; b) suppress the seconds; or b) suppress the time?

Re: Change date-time format for blog entries?

Yes, if you go into the settings page for the blog feature instance, there is a field labeled Date/Time Format String. Hit the question mark by it for more information, and links to pages that talk more about date/time formatting. The possibilities are almost limitless. We have a news page that's just using MM/dd/yyyy for simplicity.
