Can I allow my content managers to upload files?

If you have questions about using mojoPortal, you can post them here.

You may want to first review our site administration documentation to see if your question is answered there.

Can I allow my content managers to upload files?

What's the best way for me to allow content administrators to upload files that they want to link to in their content?  Specifically, PDF files that our site visitors can download.

Is there a file upload option in TinyMCE (without purchasing MCFileManager) or another way I'm missing?

Thanks!

Re: Can I allow my content managers to upload files?

I now realized that they can access the file upload tool via the Insert Link dialog, but how about allowing access to the nicer File Manager itself?  Does the user need to be in the administrator role to have that access?

Look under Administration > Site Settings > Security > Permissions

To use file manager you must trust users to delete files as well as upload, though it can be constrained to a user specific location.

Best,

Joe
