Hosting and...url rewriting

•What operating system? Windows 2003 server
•What database platform? MSSQL
•What version of mojoPortal? 2.3.2.9

Hello Joe and Everyone,
I've installed Mojoportal on an Italian hosting provider which provides installation ONLY in a subfolder so the pages of my seems like www.mywebsite.xxx/mojoportal. Is there any way (like url rewriting) to make my pages visible like www.mywebsite.xxx ??

Re: Hosting and...url rewriting

Hi,

mojoPortal can run as a root site or it can run as a virtual directory but it cannot run as a virtual directory and pretend to be a root site.

If you want to run as a root web site you should be able to install it in the root of the web site, any host that says you can't do that will not be in business long. I recommend get a better host.

Best,

Joe
