Medium trust - skins - artisteer

I got my site up on godaddy last night but the last issue I am having is getting the skins to work properly, the skins I am using were all created with artisteer.  These work just fine locally.

The first time, since running in medium trust, I added the contents of the one of the older skin folders to the App_Themes folder.  The site came up fine and I could switch the skin via administration to artisteer-24menuheader but when choosing one of mine things were off a bit.  misaligned, submenu or hover buttons not showing, font colors changed, logo picture no longer showing, etc....

The second time I decided to add the contents of artisteer-24headermenu to the App_Themes folder and rerun my setup.  Once I did this the artisteer-24 template was experiencing the same issues that mine were on the first run, misalignment of menu, rounded corners missing, logo picture missing etc...

Has anyone seen this issue as well when trying to run in medium trust.

Thank you for the help
Jon

Re: Medium trust - skins - artisteer

Hi Jon,

Rather than answer here directly, I have updated the Artisteer documentation to explain about Medium Trust Issues, see the bottom of the page:

http://www.mojoportal.com/creating-skins-from-artisteer-html-templates.aspx

Hope it helps,

Joe

Re: Medium trust - skins - artisteer

Thank you Joe I will try this out.  One thing I was unsure of, do you copy all of the files in your data\sites\1\skins\myskin folder to the App_Themes or just the theme.skin file to this folder?  Also, I assume you just copy the theme from the one you plan to use as your default skin, but this should still allow you to use different skins for other pages, correct?

thanks again.

Re: Medium trust - skins - artisteer

Looks like that was the case and is working well.  I had the entries from your updated thread already but was putting too many files in there.  I am still having issues with the additional top margins and left margins that I have put on the topnav and the logo (fine in firefox but not in IE) but I can get that squared away.

Thanks again - very much appreciated.
