Setting jQuery Cycle plugin options

How can I set options for the jQuery Cycle plugin options? Specifically I would like to disable the click event when using the scrollLeft animation.

Currently I am using the above animation effects on a Html Content feature to display site banners. The banners themselves contain hyperlinks to other areas of the site but clicking anywhere on the banner currently causes the next slide to be displayed.

Hope this makes sense,

Ben

Re: Setting jQuery Cycle plugin options

My solution for this was to set SlidePanel.NextSelector to an alternative ID - the default is that it will use the container itself.

i.e. // prevents the banner from capturing click event
// so hyperlinks can work
divContent.NextSelector = "next";

It could be worth exposing this as a setting of the HTMLContent feature.

Thanks

Ben
