Internet Explorer 7 RC1

Hello every body !.

I have to say that I downloaded a IExplorer 7 RC1, and surprise !!!: some things wrong, like left panel of mojoPortal (menu). I surf internet with FireFox and all right. No problem. I hope that RC2 of IE will work better.

Greetings.

Re: Internet Explorer 7 RC1

Hi Ruben,

Can you try it now and tell me if it still happens?

I made a small change, in the layout.master I had:
<!--[if lt IE 9]>
    <link runat="server" rel="stylesheet" href="IESpecific.css" type="text/css" id="IEMenuCSS" />
    <![endif]-->

to include a special stylesheet just for IE to fix issues in IE 6 and lower. I just changed it to:
<!--[if lt IE 7]>
    <link runat="server" rel="stylesheet" href="IESpecific.css" type="text/css" id="IEMenuCSS" />
    <![endif]-->

so it will not include this extra stylesheet for IE 7, maybe IE7 works better and does not need this extra stylesheet.

Thanks,

Joe

Re: Internet Explorer 7 RC1

If I understood well, you want that I load mojoPortal again?. I did that. And are better, but I can not select submenu (Features.Event Calendar, Features.Image Gallery, etc), because when I put the mouse over item, it disappear... (In FireFox I can to select very well)

I am still here

Re: Internet Explorer 7 RC1

OK Thanks. So it did work a little better but the sub menu is offset too far and it disappears before you can mouse over it. At least thats whet I am understanding from you.

It works fine on Vista Beta which is an older IE7. I guess I'll have to download and try the new IE7 for XP this weekend and see if I can fix a stylesheet for it. I'll try the new Vista RC1 too

Thanks for letting me know.
