I am trying register my site with Google and on Webmaster Central they are requesting that I verify my site by placing a piece of meta data in the home page in the <head> section.
Can someone direct me on how to do this?

Hi Bryan,
You could put the meta in the layout.master file of your skin. However, I generally use the alternate verification where you just upload an html file to the root of your site.
