Server Application Unavailable

The web application you are attempting to access on this web server is currently unavailable.  Please hit the "Refresh" button in your web browser to retry your request.

Administrator Note: An error message detailing the cause of this specific request failure can be found in the application event log of the web server. Please review this log entry to discover what caused this error to occur.

Re: Server Application Unavailable

Did you look in the event log on your machine to see the error details?

My guess is you will see a permission error there. If you don't see any log file then you did not make it writable by the correct user or did not make all child folders writable. On XP its the ASPNET user, on Win server 2003 you may need both ASPNET and IISWPG

Hope it helps,

Joe

Can I do it through FTP? (I have: Owner, Group and Public permissions)

Re: Server Application Unavailable

you'll probably have to get some assistance from your hosting company.

you initially said you installed it locally, I interpreted that to mean a local machine under your control
