Re: TinyMCE Editor Custom Styles

I tried that already, and that did not work either.. I even restarted the IIS server to update anything that might have been in cache.. What I am wondering, is there a way to specify a css file that will be imported into the Style dropdown box?

Thanks.

Re: TinyMCE Editor Custom Styles

Hi,

You must specify Element(e.g: div, h1,h2 ,...) and a css class that is exists. You can  add your css class to style.css or if you what place it  in your separated css file, add your css file to style.config in you skin folder.

Hope Hels,

Asad

Re: TinyMCE Editor Custom Styles

I have tried all of that also.. would it be possible for you to provide screen shots of what you mean, So I can verify what I am doing is correct?

Thanks so much for your time!!

Re: TinyMCE Editor Custom Styles

I think you will have better luck if you upgrade to mojoPortal 2.3.1.9. I recall there was a bug in the implementation of style templates in TinyMCE a few versions ago.

Hope it helps,

Joe

Re: TinyMCE Editor Custom Styles

Hello

I'm new in mojoportal. I have the same problem. No one of my content template style work.

My mojoportal version is : 2.3.4.8 MSSQL

I try the two solutions in the style.css or in the separated file and add in the style.config:

I define a class in style.css like this

 .myDiv

{

background-color:Red;

}

Next i define my content template style for a div element.

The content template element appears in all editors but when i apply my style, the background color

does not change.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Re: TinyMCE Editor Custom Styles

Hi blochau,

Have you read the information on this page - http://www.mojoportal.com/skinning-overview.aspx ?

I had a similar problem yesterday and found that is was easiest to make sure new styles worked properly by adding:

<add key="CacheCssOnServer" value="false" />
<add key="CacheCssInBrowser" value="false" />

to the user.config file then touching then web.config file (as per Joe's instructions).  I then copied my skin into a new folder and uploaded it to the server as myskinV2, changed the site settings to use that instead and it all worked fine - at this stage you have made sure that nothing will be cached and when you use a new skin it means you are starting afresh so nothing can have already been cached.

As you probably know you can add the css class via the source editor to check it is working before you add it to the styles template.

Re: TinyMCE Editor Custom Styles

Thank for your answer.

My style appears well in the editor and when i update the page it desappear and the background of the my div become red.

Do i need to modify any other css file?

Thanks

Re: TinyMCE Editor Custom Styles

Hi blochaou,

Can you just give us a few more details......

- which css file have you put your style into or are you doing it inline (for more testing purposes you could try putting it inline and see if that works) ?

-what are you trying to achieve with the div?

Ideally if you want to post the style on here and the relevant part of the html then I'll take a look and do my best to help you.

HTH

Andrew
