I read at your blog
b square, a site designed by TEAK. Notice that they implemented multiple languages and a cool language switcher and this was done with no changes to the core of mojoPortal.
maybe TEAK wish to contribute the language selector widget to monoportal?
At one point they mentioned they might write up a case study about how they did this. You can find their contact info on our consulting list.
It looks to me like they just created different versions of pages for each language and they redirect to the right one probably based on a cookie they set when you change the language dropdown.
