Move topics between forums

This is an open forum for any mojoPortal topics that don't fall into the other categories.

Move topics between forums

Usually, my users are posting in the wrong section of the forum.

How i can move their topic in the right forum?

I suppose by manually editing the database: it will break the forums?

Right now we have a clunky way to move a thread (as opposed to a single post) from one forum to another.

If signed in as admin you can see pencils next to each thread on the ForumView.aspx page. Click the pencil and you will see a dropdown of the forums. I believe it only shows forums from the same Forums module instance.

Maybe you could change the icon from a pencil to a set of arrows, like the windows live sync logo

It will appear more evident the possibility of moving the topic, as the pencil make it think "edit"
