Removing user accounts

  • What operating system were you running when the bug appeared?
  • What database platform is your site using?
  • What version of mojoPortal are you running?
  • What version of .NET do you use?
  • What steps are necessary to reproduce the issue? Compare expected results vs actual results.

Removing user accounts

Okay, Im a noob to mojoPortal and I am having a bit of trouble with users. Some people registered before i found out about the SMTP configuration and didnt get their emails. Now I have set the SMTP and need to delete these old users so they can get on. How do i go about this?  I am on Windows 2008 Server 32-bit, SQL 2008 Express, and v2.3.0.1 of mojo. Thanks!

Hi,

You can login as admin, search for the user on memberlist page, click the gear icon next to user name then click the delete button. Note you should first go to site settings and mark "Really Delete Users" as checked first else it will just flag the record as deleted and this will not allow the user to register again since the email already exists.
