Contact Form - no email received

Hi Joe,

I've installed MojoPortal 2.2.9.6 to a mysql db.  Everything seemed to work until I tried to do a contact form.  The reset password results in a send, and the recaptcha is working, but nothing comes through to my email.  This is on a shared server, the permissions for the folders have been checked, full trust is on, and both locations for SMTP settings are the same in the web.config (checked and recheckec).

So, what information can I send youthat will help figure out why this feature is not working as expected?

Thanks,

Brad

Re: Contact Form - no email received

Hi Brad,

The reset password uses the mail settings from the system.net.mailsettings section of Web.config, but all other features use the settigns from appSettings as described in the documentation. If you configure it correctly it will work. No messages are lost even if the mail is not configured correctly, if logged in as admin or with edit permission you should see a link for "View Messages" on the contact form.

Hope it helps,

Joe
