Recaptcha control appears to fail validation when used with the contact form

This forum is primarily for reporting issues about Web Accessibility such as difficulty using mojoPortal with a screen reader or other assistive technology.

Post any feedback here related to improving the accessibility or usability of mojoPortal. As stated in our Accessibility documentation, it is an important goal of the project that both the front-end customer experience and the back end administration and content publishing features be accessible to as many people as possible. Ideally, if you post about problems, we will also be glad to have suggestions on how the problems can be fixed but all constructive feedback on these issues is welcome.

Yes, its true, I've complained about it before on their mailing list and I think at one point it was fixed but invalidity crept back in over time.

If its a problem you can always use Subkismet captcha, or help make noise about it on the ReCaptcha mailing list. It affects all sites using ReCaptcha, not just mojoportal.

I just looked into this. The previous time they had a validation problem it was the javascript from their server writing invalid markup in the page but this time it was in the .NET code for their control. I was able to find it and fix it in the copy included in mojoPortal, so this will be fixed in the next release.

I am using reCaptcha from past one or two years. Is was working nicely earlier but now a days the validation is failing and I am getting more fake users on my site. I have this captha on www.mydiary.co.in registration page. You can check it yourself.

Guys, any idea about an alternative to this? or any other solution? Please post if you have.
