sharing contents thru site

is it possible to have same content published to different sites? what i need to do i create a calendar (just one calendar) and have all the sites sharing that calendar. this would help content managers to avoid confusion. i'd like to use the UseFoldersInsteadOfHostnamesForMultipleSites, that actually does not work, or am not able to make it work.

Re: sharing contents thru site

No, there is no content sharing across sites. It is possible to share users across sites but not content.

Folder sites work for me.

Best,

Joe

Re: sharing contents thru site

Ok. but how would you suggest to implement a multi-language content management?
I’d not like to have content managers get lost on different sites searching for the right place to set translations or contents. Is there a way you would suggest??

I’ll try to fix our problem on folder sites.

Btw: you mentioned on a blog you’re going to think about CRm functionalities. Do you already have some ideas? It’s a very good idea, and since we’re definitely going to use Mojo to implement some CRM features, it’d be good to not overlap or probably wait for some new features.

Re: sharing contents thru site

Hi Manuel,

Rather than answer in this post, I created a document, Supporting Multiple Languages, which gives my recommendations about suportingmultiple languages.

About CRM, its on the long range plans but not immediate plans so I have no timeline for it. So I would say implement it as you will and if you'd like to make it available when its working that would be great.

Best,

Joe
