shared modules

Hi all, I like very much this portal, i'm using it to change my web site but I have a problem:

there is a way to share a module beetween all the portal pages? For example if I want an html modules with links and banners on the left I want't to repeat the adding of module in all the pages, also because if I add a new page I must to redo the operation or if I want to change something in that module I must to do the same operation n times.

Please help me, because I want to public my web site as soon as as possible (today is online but in old static form http://www.nabbirra.net)

Bye. Eraldo

Re: shared modules

It is not currently possible to re-use the same module on multiple pages.

The best way to achive the same effect is either to put your links and banners right in the skin file (Data/Sites/[SiteID]/skins/[skin-name]/layout.ascx) or create a user control with the links and banners and put the user control directly in the skin. THis will put the links and banners on every page but the only down side is that when you want to change it you have to edit the skin again. Eventually I will have a feature to edit skins from in the browser.

Hope it helps,

Joe
