Croatian localization

Hello!

I've made partial croatian localization of mojoPortal. I made Resource.hr.resx file based on default Resource.resx. Few items have been left in english, mainly for Advanced Tools and Web Part configuration. I plan to translate those items too, along with Message Templates and Help Files when I catch time.

I think, however, that even this partial translation can be a good starting point for anyone looking into further mojoPortal's croatian localization. For this localization I borrowed common croatian terminology used in localized Microsoft and Google products (both desktop and web, like Windows XP, Google Mail, Windows Live services, etc). Using infix hr instead of hr-HR should help in seamless integration of this localization for croatian users in both Croatia (hr-HR) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (hr-BA, I think).

So, I have two questions:

  1. Can I somehow submit localization files for including into mojoPortal official release?
  2. What's the procedure for further localization's improvements?

Re: Croatian localization

Hi Slaven,

Yes, it would be great if you contribute a Croation translation! You can zip the file(s) and email them to me at joe dot audette at gmail dotcom. I'll add them to the solution and commit to svn. As you continue to translate more keys or files just send me the new copies and I'll update them in svn.

Resource.resx is the main file but there are other .resx files to translate and there are also files that can be localized under /Data/MessageTemplates and /Data/HelpFiles

I will also list you on the developer credits page for contributing Croation translation files http://www.mojoportal.com/developers.aspx if you want a link or an image there just let me know.

Best,

Joe

Thanks! I've listed you on the credits and will get this into svn as soon as I can.
