Missing project files

The main web application project file (mojoPortal.Web.csproj) has references to a number files that are missing from the source files and aren't rebuilt when doing a full solution rebuild. They are:

  • mojoPortal.Business.WebHelpers.XML
  • mojoPortal.Business.XML
  • mojoPortal.Data.Common.dll/pdb
  • mojoPortal.Data.xml
  • mojoPortal.Net.XML
  • mojoPortal.Web.Controls.XML
  • mojoPortal.Web.Editor.XML
  • mojoPortal.Web.Framework.XML

Most of these are XML files, but one is an assembly. However, the web project seems to build fine without this missing assembly.

Re: Missing project files

Please explain where you are seeing these missing references? They are not under the References node in Solution explorer. Never would there be references to xml files. The project mojoPortal.Data.Common no longer exists.

Best,

Joe

Re: Missing project files

They're in the bin folder.

Re: Missing project files

Ok, I'll remove the one about mojoPortal.Data.Common

xml files are just documentation and are only generated when doing Release Build, in any case you can ignore those warning nodes in the bin folder.

Best,

Joe
