2.7 upgrade fail

Hi

I'm a long time Mojo user and have installed on 3 or 4 machines, local and remote servers. I've upgraded 2 or 3 times without problems, however:

I'm trying to upgrade a live site to 2.7 and for the first time it has failed.

I've played it by the book, used the new web.config, replaced the machinekey with mine, the user.config is untouched so connection string is correct (checked anyway)

When I go to setup/default.aspx I just get a  "500 Internal Server Error"  obviously not much help!

If I restore the original site it runs fine so there is nothing wrong with the server or database.

Any guidance on what might be wrong or how I can get an error message that tells me more?

Regards

Andy
