Super Flexi Feature

Hi folks,

your demo site showcases this awesome "Super Flexi"  feature for a slideshow on the homepage. I'd like to incorporate in a site that I'm currently building.

Can I download it somewhere?

Keep up the good work,
Daniel

Re: Super Flexi Feature

Hi Daniel,

Sorry for not responding to this sooner. I seriously thought I did respond but apparently not.

We've decided to include SuperFlexi in the core. We're doing this because it provides a very simple way for developers to create things like page banner sliders, icon blocks, image galleries and a whole lot of other things. We're in the middle of developing several new skins for the mojoSkins project and each of these skins will require SuperFlexi. We really think it would be best for all users of mojoPortal if SuperFlexi is a core feature.

You already noticed the banner on the demo site uses SuperFlexi but if you look at the product demos page on the demo site, you'll see a grid of products. That grid is generated with SuperFlexi.

The next release of mojoPortal is in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks,
Joe

Re: Super Flexi Feature

Hi Joe,

I'm hoping to get my MojoPortal installs up to the latest version over the summer and I'd like to start designing with the Super Flexi feature.  Any update on when this new feature will be released?

Thanks for all the great work!

Re: Super Flexi Feature

Hi Daniel and Rob,

mojoPortal 2.6 was released at the beginning of October and it includes SuperFlexi. You can check out the release notes here and the SuperFlexi documentation here.

Thanks,
Joe
