I have logged this in the tracker for future consideration. I don't really think it is that difficult right now. If we put a new edition link then it could also result in multiple drafts for the next edition, seems like they should look first to see if there is a draft. We "could" make the grid smarter so if there is no draft it can link directly to a new edition page and change the link text but I consider this a very low priority, development is not free after all and there are lots of things that one could work on. I could spend years polishing every corner of every feature but I need to focus for a while more on things that actually bring revenue to sustain the work on the free things.
