Common question: multisites, disign, cms concept

Hello guys!

I am pretty new with cms system, however i have a little experience with asp.net (i did a couple of static sites on asp.net) So i have some questions i would appreciate you to help with.

1)  is there any  limitation for site developing  by using mojoportal?

2) Is it able to recreate the site design totally, remove sign in, registration menu and move root pages menu wherever i want?If yes, could you pls provide links to tutorial?

3) How can I  manage the site if registration is not intended and authorization is not used? I mean how manager can log in and manage content?

4) Can i use master site to manage other child sites that are different?

5) Can you please explain how many sites are working on one CMS? is it technically one site including CMS itself or not? I would like to understand the concept of working cms system.

Thank you in advance!

Re: Common question: multisites, disign, cms concept

a few quick tips:

1. Not really, other than what you are able or unable to achieve in ASP.Net. Depends what you mean.

2. Yes. Lots of documentation under http://www.mojoportal.com/design-and-skinning

3. You can always log in at /Secure/Login.aspx even if you remove visible links to that.

4. Yes

5. Shared database and code, one IIS web site. Explained in the documentation http://www.mojoportal.com/muliplesites.aspx

Good luck!
