Adding common footer to site?

I'm very new to mojoportal and I'm trying to create a replacement to our corporate website using mojoportal.  I'm sure I'll have many questions as we go, but here's the first one.

How would I go about adding a common footer to all my pages?

I need to add some copyright information including links to the bottom of all my pages ideally just after the Site Map and Printable View links that exist now.

Thank you,

William

Re: Adding common footer to site?

Hi William,

Anything that needs to be on every page should go in the layout.master file of your skin.

The skin is set from site settings in the admin section and the name of the skin corresponds to the folder containing its files. Skins are located under siteroot/Data/[SiteID]/skins

where siteid is usually 1 unless you have setup additional sites.

You can learn more about creating custom skins for mojoPortal here:

Hope it helps,

Joe
