Ability to create photo albums in Image Gallery and use Nivo Slider

Ability to create photo albums in Image Gallery and use Nivo Slider

I've been searching the forum and web but I cant see that there is currently the ability to create photo albums using the Image Gallery feature. Sure you could create multiple Image Galleries, but I think it would be nice to have the ability to support creating image albums in one gallery. Would this be possible to do or maybe its already possible and I just don't know how to do it. It would also be fantastic if it worked with the Nivo Slider!

Yes, the Image Gallery is a pretty basic module, and is a single gallery per instance.

You might also try the Image Gallery (Simple Folder Version). It mirrors a folder tree of images, which could give the appearance of multiple galleries within an instance, depending on how the images are arranged in the folder tree. There's also the Flickr gallery module, which I haven't tried myself, but may be more what you are looking for.
