mojoPortal 2.2.3.9 Released

I'm happy to announce the release of mojoPortal 2.2.3.9, available now on the download page.

I was going to wait and try to get finished with the Newsletter feature I'm working on for this release but since I'm getting side tracked with some customer work (which is a good thing) I thought I should go ahead and make a release to get the new skins out there.

This release contains a few bug fixes and 7 new skins as mentioned in my previous post.

hi,joe, when I build the mojoportal 2.2.3.9 solution . there are four error,

1: const string buttonTextDefault = "Login ?; in mojoOpenIdLogin.cs
2: const string buttonTextDefault = "Login ?; in mojoOpenIdRegister.cs

3: \web\letter\LetterEdit.aspx.designer.cs could not be opened

4: \web\letter\LetterEdit.aspx.cs could not be opened.

when I change the "Login?; to "Login" and delete LetterEdit.aspx form solution.

It's build succeeded.

Hi Wenjie,

Thanks for letting me know. I've uploaded a new source code zip with these issues corrected. It does not affect the pre-compiled release files in any way.

Cheers,

Joe

Is there an ETA on the Newsletter feature?

I am currently getting into mojoportal development and am currently plaaning on using mojopportal on 3 new customers, but the missing newsletter is a showstopper for at least two of them.

I am so pleased to finally have found a well structured ASP.NET CMS that I can run against MySQL under Medium trust in a hosted environment. I also like the fact that it does not try to be "everything", currently mojoportal is an excellent starting point (a 80-90% feature complete) for many company sites.

Keep up the good work! I hope to be able to generalize some of the modules that I create for my customers (I only their consent and the time to do it, though) so that others can benifit from them the same way that I have benifit from mojoportal.

Hi Anreas,

Thanks for the kind words.

I'd say the first functional iteration of the Newsletter feature will be ready in the next 2-4 weeks.

Cheers,

Joe

Can't download. Novell seems to have a database problem.
