problema with installation on ARVIXE ver 2.3.6.7

Hi Joe,

I'm starting a new website on arvixe (fulltrust) versione 2367 sql2008

But choosing installation package (the automatic one) it gives me the following error:

The application could not be installed:
- Error while install application pack.
- Error while installing application package: The application pool that you are trying to use has the 'managedRuntimeVersion' property set to 'v2.0'. This application requires 'v4.0'.

how can I fix it ??

Hi Michele,

I think this is a bug in the DotNetPanel, they have been having some trouble with the automatic installation recently at Arvixe. I would contact Arvixe support and ask them to install it for you or else you could install it manually by ftp. You do need to set the application pool to .NET 4, there should be a place to do this somewhere in the control panel.

Hi Michele,

I've used Arvixe for a year now.

Login to your Arvixe Control Panel
Hover over the big Web(world) image and select Websites from the menu that appears
Next, In the right panel under Web Sites the name of your Website should be there.
It's a link. Click on your website name
On the next page there are a dozen tab pages you can select from, click the Extensions tab
Now in the left column next to ASP.NET: select (4.0) Integrated in the drop down list.
Then in the lower left corner of the page click the "Update" button.
Wait about 30 seconds till the page finishes.

OK... Now your new Website is ready to use mojoPortal with Dot.Net 4.0
