I need to excerpt the most recent postings of blogs and forums on a welcome page.  I was using the RSS feed to accomplish this, but ran into security issues as the blogs and forums are not intended for publication to non members.

Is there another way of accomplishing this?

Both.

Security for the containing page has authenticated users only allowed to view the content.

Security for the feature instance has "All users" configured to view the content.

If I change the security for the feature instance to "Authenticated users",  the RSS feed to my summary page stops.

If I leave the security for the feature instance allowing "All users" access to the content, then the content is viewable by non authenticated users (view the rss feed) which is undesirable.

Thank you for the reply; I've read the useful article on internal feeds from Blogs. I appreciate the security implications of the "InternalFeedSecurityBypassKey" hack.  It sounds passing the guid in the request for the feed involves adding a querystring name/value to the address.  

Would this hack also work for internal consumption of rss feeds from other feature types? (e.g. forums)?
