Screen Estate When Module Titles Aren't Visible

Hi all

I've a site design that we're just skinning up in mojoPortal.  Looks great so far however the site design is very well lined up to the pixel.

When we drop in the dynamic side of the system and put content into the main column we have switched off the main content module title as we aren't using it.

The problem is that either the title or the (when logged out) invisible edit links are still taking up the screen real estate that they would if we were logged in and they were visible. This is causing the web page to be way out of alignment. We don't want to use CSS display: none on the admin links / title as it'd cause them to disappear when logged in too.

Any idea how we can get that screen space back and reinstate the alignment please?

Hope it's something obvious that we've missed!

Hey Mark,

This can happen if your CSS is giving a set height to the ModuleEditLink class. It can also happen with various combinations of CSS applied to that class. Can you share a link to the site so I can take a look? Feel free to email it to me if you don't want to share it with the world.

Thanks,
Joe D.

Re: Screen Estate When Module Titles Aren't Visible

Hi Joe, hope you're very well.

Thanks for that, we'd checked that out and after a bit of investigating I think there's something dodgy in some legacy styles - much as you'd mentioned. It's only applying to that particular module, none of the others so we're just checking through.

I'll send a link once it's on a public(ish) test server, working locally right now.

Thanks for the input as ever :0)

It's just a standard HTML module so it's leading me to believe the issue is with the HTML the client sent through - debugging as we speak :0)
