The andreasviklund-02 and andreasvickland-02-alt1 skins illustrate the techniques covered in the article Joe D linked to. When I made the skin for this site I basically made a wider version of the styleshout-brightsideoflife skin and then borrowed some stuff from the Andreas Viklund layout.master to make the mutli level tabs.

I must admit that I quit caring about IE6 a long time ago. Every once in a while a customer will request that I design their site to be compatible with IE6 but when doing so, I usually do not try to replicate 100% of the skin.

As far as the i7media-2horizontalmenus skin goes, I don't think I ever tried to make it work in IE6. I will take a look at it this weekend and see if I can come up with some adjustments for it.
