How do I find the list of custom templates for Mojo Portal?

Hi folks,

Feel free to move this if it isn't in the right place.  I was just wondering something though.  I'm trying to figure out a template design (and I know that there are already hundreds to choose from, but correct me if I'm wrong) for my new site.  My question is, how do I access the different ones so that I and another sighted individual can go over them to choose the most flashy of the bunch that will look good?  Any further guidance would be wonderful.  Thanks so much.

Re: How do I find the list of custom templates for Mojo Portal?

Hi Katherine,

If you go to Administration > Site Settings, there is a dropdown list of skins allowing to to select the skin to use. Right next to the dropdown is a link for browsing the skins labelled Preview/Browse, it will open up a window where you can scroll through the designs and see a preview of the site home page using the design.

The files for the skins are located under /Data/Sites/[SiteID]/skins where SiteID is typically 1 for the first site in an installation so it would be under /Data/Sites/1/skins.

Beneath that skins folder are more folders, each folder corresponds to a skin and the folder name is the skin name.

Hope that helps,

Joe

Re: How do I find the list of custom templates for Mojo Portal?

Thanks!  You know, just before you said that, I was able to see them.  I have the pretty olive green one up there now.  I really like that color for the site too.  And the address is raeder24.org if you want to put it up in that list of sites you have up there.  Also thanks for telling me how the directory works as well for I am pretty enthusiastic about the way an Asp.net application works.  I have yet to progress in the book I'm using to teach myself the C# language as well.  And sorry for being a bit off topic, but have you anything for me to check up on yet?  If so, please let me know, and I'll be right on it seeing that I don't have much else going on right at the moment.

Regards,

Katherine
