Artisteer skins question.

Hi,

Thanks for the artisteer 2.4 Horiz template, I created a new tempate as per doc's, and moved the sign-in etc..

I do have a couple of questions.

1) How do I stop the 'Contact Form' text box background from being the same as the background colour ?

2) How do you change the default editor to CKEditor for Contact form ? (Currently its different to the edit mode editor).

3) How do you disable the div framing from Artisteer on jQuery Slideshows ? It now has 'artister sidebar styling' applied.

Thanks

Andrew

Re: Artisteer skins question.

Hi Andrew,

1. Step 7 in this article tells how to solve that

http://www.mojoportal.com/creating-skins-from-artisteer-html-templates.aspx

2.

The contact form uses the default editor of the site, if you are using CKeditor then so is the contact form. The only difference is the toolbar configuration, it is possible to customize toolbars, that one is meant for anonymous non privileged users.

http://www.mojoportal.com/customizing-the-editor-toolbars.aspx

3. This thread may help you, it involved an Artisteer skin and the same question.

Hope it helps,

Joe

Re: Artisteer skins question.

Ah.. Perfect..

99% happy with my new theme now. I've now changed the jQueryUI theme also.

With the CKEditor/FCK/etc etc... Do they all have the same grey style theme now ?

From memory the CKEditor had a rounder look..?

Re: Artisteer skins question.

There are 3 editor skins to choose from for CKeditor, I changed the default from kama to v2 based on user feedback that the kama skin looked goofy. I kind of liked it myself but I'm mildly color blind and may not see it as others do. To me it looks like nice soft pastels, but others said it looks cartoony.

<!-- valid options for CKeditor:Skin are kama, v2, office2003-->
  <add key="CKEditor:Skin" value="v2"/>

You can override it in user.config

Best,

Joe
