How to delete old entries in the calendar

is it possible to delete all old entries in the calendar before a certain date to a time?

Hi Matthias,

I will put this on my to do list for Event Calendar Pro, but there are some complexities. In deleting events we must also delete the friendly urls that point to the events. Another consideration is if tickets were sold for the event do we really want to delete the event and orphan the ticket records? Or should we only delete events if there are no registrations or purchase history? It seems like one day we may want to be able to find out about the event related to sales and if we delete them it will not be possible to find out what event a particular ticket was for, it will have an event id that no longer matches any event. I will have to think through these issues.

Hi Joe,

with respect to the Event Calendar Pro, I also see a lot of things that must be borne in mind (this is google translation :-) and I'm looking forward to the new possibilities that you'll find out, but on the website in which we currently use this calendar we want to delete anything, because it is also the source for our page "archive".
My question was referring to the simple calendar on the site from "cafe rizz", because they show almost every day several football matches on sky channel and announce them in the calendar. But now I think that it is not possible too.
Is this not a task for the cool new query tool with a simple DELETE * WHERE ... in the table mp_calendarevents?

I do not know much about mysql and therefore needs a detour via the ItemID, but then it works
