Icon formatting

Hi All,

Anyone know of recent changes to the style sheets affecting the gear and arrow icons on the page where you add features to a page? On that page and on the edit page heirarchy page the icons have gone all wonky down at at the bottom.

Thanks,

John

Re: Icon formatting

See this article, it has information about using icons vs links or creating a toolbar

Best,

Joe

Re: Icon formatting

Different icons. The ones I'm referring to are on the page where you add features to a page. The gear and arrow icons on the right of each of the three panes are shifted way down. Same thing on the page in the admin where you can click the arrows to move pages up and down in the navigation. The arrows and other icons on the side of that pane are also shifted way down.

Re: Icon formatting

Does it happen in all skins or is it a skin issue?

Re: Icon formatting

I believe this is a problem on my skin. I look at the 'Edit this page' and 'Add/edit pages' in the admin on the demo site and they look OK. So apparently I've lost a couple of styles for the icons or some some element on those pages in my skin and the arrow/gear/etc icons are shifting way to the bottom. I've dug through a couple of the newer skins but I'm just not finding my problem.

Re: Icon formatting

Hi John,

Is the site publicly accessible and if so would you mind giving me a login? You can restrict the login to have edit rights to a single page.

My email address is joe (at) i7media (dot) com.

Thanks,
Joe D.

Re: Icon formatting

For this kind of problem my first suspicion would be either a missing closing tag or an extra closing tag somewhere in layout.master.

Hope it helps,

Joe
