FCKEditor Refresh Problem

FCKEditor Refresh Problem

Hi,

I do not understand why I occasionally have a problem. (For this version mojoportal-build-2009-11-06-mssql, FCKEditor) ...

there's a problem but I can not describe. While reading the text, the editor is often refresh. But the end of the set text and click the cursor when the problem is corrected.

There was no problem in this version, 2.3.1.9 Released 20090927...

I found how I would describe the problem... (FCKEditor)

 - Edit text and select first line

 - Keep the cursor in the first row.

 - mouse go to by pulling down Scroolbar. (Keep the cursor above. until do not see cursor.)

 - and wait only 5 - 10 second

 - after 5 - 10 second editor refresh. and Back to where the cursor is.

Hi,

I'm not seeing this issue. What browser and OS are you using?

I recommend upgrade to mojoPortal 2.3.2.9 released today.

Note that we did upgrade to the latest version of FCKeditor, and it was also included in your current build. If the old FCKeditor scripts still exist in your file system you could change this setting to point to the old version.

<add key="FCKeditor:BasePath" value="~/ClientScript/fckeditor265/" />

I think the old version would be:

<add key="FCKeditor:BasePath" value="~/ClientScript/fckeditor264/" />

Make sure the folder /ClientScript/fckeditor264 exists.

Hey guys,

I was able to login to Volkans website yesterday afternoon and i had the problem he is describing. The problem occurs when using FCKeditor in IE8 (I didn't try with compat mode). Basically, his content is an <h3> with the ui-tab code after it. If you select text in the <h3> and then use the arrow buttons on the scrollbar to scroll down, the textarea will jump back to the top after a few seconds.

I don't know that anything can be done from a mojo standpoint as this seems to be an FCKeditor issue.

Volkan, I would suggest you follow Joe A's advice and install the latest version of mojo because it has the latest version of FCKeditor and this issue may be resolved. If it isn't resolved, you may want to give TinyMCE a try or maybe CKeditor. The only thing missing from CKeditor at this point (as far as I know) are the Content Templates and Content Style Templates.

Ok, I understand. Thankyou Joe A. & Joe D. I have now downloaded the new version. i 'm doing upgrade now.

Note : Survey problem I had today. I will try again after the new version, do I report problems I experience.

Hi, Installed new version and i tried again.  (Windows 7 on IE 8.0)

 Sory but continue problem just if selected "Maximize the editor size" button. if dont select "Maximize the editor size" successful, okay...

 So but dont problem for me, I saw and I wanted to forward only.
