Hi,
I am totally new at developing websites, but have done extensive research on the CSM systems available on the web and I believe I have found the most flexible and best supported in mojoPortal. I am very interested on trying out its features on a couple of my projects.
I successfuly instaled on Windows XP, SQL Express using Microsoft's Web Platform Intaller, which BTW is a wonderful tool, (I did not have to wory about seting up a database or dilling with ISS), but when runing set up I receive the follwing error:

Check the web site configuration in IIS. Make sure it is set to use ASP.NET 2.0.

I think you do not have .NET 3.5 SP1 installed.

Thank you for your help. I tried Joe Davis idea and the set up run OK, but when I click "Site Home Page" I get the following error on a new browser page:
The website declined to show this webpage
HTTP 403
Most likely causes:

What you can try:
Go back to the previous page.

This error (HTTP 403 Forbidden) means that Internet Explorer was able to connect to the website, but it does not have permission to view the webpage.

Any ideas? I checked and I have ASP.NET 3.5 SP1 installed.

Make sure that IIS is configured for both windows and anonymous authentication. Make sure the NetWork Service user has read permissions on the web file system and write permissiosn on the /Data folder.
Or I mean the aspnet user in XP not Network Service.
I had the same error message after configuring a new system. I found a link after doing a Google search but can't find it now. Somewhere in the xp install / asp.net setup sometimes it doesn't configure properly.
If you go into Admin Tools, select IIS, select local computer, select Web Sites and right click for properties. Select documents and add default.aspx. You have to move default.aspx to the top. If default.aspx is there, it's another issue.
Anyway, the instructions were somewhere along this line and it worked for me. This was for installation of mojo on a localhost.
