should i be worried? This site appears to be running in a secured environment using Medium Trust pol

Hi

I've followed the instructions and have deployed my site to a hosted server. I've got this error in setup, even though i've added the line to my web.config

This site appears to be running in a secured environment using Medium Trust policy or at least lower than Full Trust.
In order for the Search Engine to work in Medium trust, you need to add this in Web.config in the AppSettings section:

<add key="Lucene.Net.lockdir" value="D:\Domains\timbutler.org\wwwroot\Sigmar2\Data\Sites\1\index" />

i added it to my webconfig just here

<appSettings>

<add key="Lucene.Net.lockdir" value="D:\Domains\timbutler.org\wwwroot\Sigmar2\Data\Sites\1\index" />
<!-- after initial installation its a good idea to set this to false. If you sign in as admin before doing upgrades you can leave this as false.-->
<add key="DisableSetup" value="false" />
<add key="ShowConnectionErrorOnSetup" value="true" />

My site does come up http://www.timbutler.org/Sigmar2 un and pw is still set to the default if you wish to test it out. But there seems to be a strange issue when i created some pages such as 'contact us' 'who we are' 'design projects' which seem to be ghosts in the system, ie i delete them, and then recreate them, the links then redirect to old pages, or they appear in the menu, but when you click on them, they dont exist.

Could i still be having some medium trust issues ? did i create and move pages around too quickly and the system got confused? i dont have access to the db til tomorrow, would it be best to just delete the db and start again, and put it down to an abnomally? (a word i cant even spell lol)

any help would be great

cheers

tim

Re: should i be worried? This site appears to be running in a secured environment using Medium Trust

Hi,

I get a security exception when I visit your site. You need to do some special configuration for medium trust

Please don't post big chunks of your log like that. Try to find just the relevant part when posting errors. A lot of that is logged as INFO, and the ERROR isthe  same error happening over and over about a missing page, I don't need see to see a bunch of copies of the same error.

Hope it helps,

Joe

Re: should i be worried? This site appears to be running in a secured environment using Medium Trust pol

Hi Joe

Firstly sorry about posting the long error blog, i didnt realise it was so long til after i pasted it.

I eventually got my hosting company to install mojo portal instead of transferring my compiled site from my local, as i had to do it folder by folder as my ftp connection times out with big transfers. (i must have missed some files, despite my best effort not to)

Think i'd probably suggest  to anyones trying the same to do this first, and then just copy over the necassary files from their local.

Thanks

Tim
