Re: I suggest a search form in this forum

The forums are searchable using the main site search link in the top right corner of the page.

Hope that helps,

Steve

Re: I suggest a search form in this forum

I think he wanted to have the ability to search this or other forums only. He is probably having the same issue I am, that using the generic site search returns a ton of records, many that are not relevant. Makes it a tedious task searching for answers.

Re: I suggest a search form in this forum

I am planning to make it possible on the search page to filter by feature, just haven't got to it yet.

Best,

Joe

Please advice me how i can filter Search (Like you have in a dropdown list Filter by Feature).

I can not find the "SearchUseBackwardCompatibilityMode" and  "EnableSearchResultsHighlighting" configuration file . To use this what should i change.

Re: I suggest a search form in this forum

Hi,

Those settings should exist in Web.config, but ideally you put them in user.config so you don't lose them on upgrades.

See this document for more details:

Hope it helps,

Joe
