GoDaddy Install login problems

GoDaddy Install login problems

I've deployed my site to Godaddy sucessfully. It's running in medium-trust. I know it can access the database I created for it because all of the content is there. When I try to login, it goes through like everything is fine, but I don't get access to any of the admin tools or pages that authenticated users can access. Even the admin@admin.com account doesn't work. Has anyone seen this before? I could use some help :)

PART 2!!!

 

So I've noticed that I only have that I only have the login problem when using internet explorer. Everything works fine in FireFox using windows or MAC.

 

Hopefully that will narrow down the advice someone will give me.

Make sure you are not using godaddy domain masking as that shows the site from inside a frame and makes it impossible to set a cookie.

Since it only happens in IE I would try IE on another machine and see if its specific to the machine or is repeatable. Could be some toolbar or privacy guard add on blocking cookies.

Outstanding! Masking was the problem. I guess FireFox handles it better than IE. Thanks for the help Joe.
