Re: error 404 on 2.5 file manager

Hi,

It seems that the routes aren't being registered properly. Do you see anything related to routing or the file manager in your logs?

Thanks,
Joe

Re: error 404 on 2.5 file manager

The problem was that the file manager wasn't accounting for cases of mojoPortal running in a subfolder. Fixed the issue in the views and it works fine. We'll update the release with the corrected files. The files changed:

  • /Views/FileManager/Index.cshtml
  • /Views/FileManager/Pages.cshtml

Thanks,
Joe

I seem to have an issue similar to this - Filemanager works locally but not on my production server. Here is the log error:

Re: error 404 on 2.5 file manager

Hi Stephen,

Try downloading the release again. There were some issues with running 2.5 in a sub-folder and we fixed the release files.

Thanks,
Joe

Re: error 404 on 2.5 file manager

Sorry Joe but I downloaded the release and installed it but I'm still getting the same error.

Anything else I can try?

Re: error 404 on 2.5 file manager

Create a file named error.cshtml and place it in the views folder. Let me know if that fixes it.

That didn't work but a new error has appeared in the log:

Re: error 404 on 2.5 file manager

Hi Stephen,

Looks like you're using medium trust hosting. Microsoft quit recommending the use of trust levels to isolate application code back in 2012

So, my recommendation is to ask your host to switch you to full trust hosting (many hosting providers are not using trust levels anymore) or switch to a new host.

Thanks,
Joe
