Unable to run latest version with Arvixe.com hosting

I have just get a hosting place with arvixe.com - and want to install Mojoportal on it. 

I downloaded the latest version and uploaded the files, setup web.config and so on (I have installed it a lots of time before) - but I get an error when I try to run setup.aspx - Deleted all the files and tryied again - same error.

I then installed it on the server from the web app gallery - and its works perfect - but its not the latest version (web app is version 2.4.0.0) - I then tryied to upgrade from the running 2.4.0.0 to the latest 2.4.0.3 but I get the same error as first...

The error make no sense to me, so I hope some one know what to do?

I suggest contact your host and open a support ticket. Once you get errors down in the windows temoprary files where the asp.net compiler generates files, the only thing I know to do is stop the IIS web site then delete the temporary files (you can't delete them without stopping the web site) then start the web site and hopefully it will re-generate them correctly.

when I google for "Compiler Error Message: The compiler failed with error code 1." I see lots of results including some support tickets at Arvixe where they say that somehow 32 bit options were enabled on the application pool and setting that to false fixed it.

looks like you deployed also Event Calendar Pro and Form Wizard Pro. I would not deploy add on features until the site is first working correctly. Also make sure you have a license for each installation where you deploy those files.

I wrote to the yesterday, but to get a fast answer I made this forum post also. 

But I have just get a answer back from them and the problem was that the app pool was running i 32 bit and not 64 bit mode.

    Hello, i'm having a similar problem. I can install last week success. I had to delete and re-install this week but seems error. I don't understand. I wrote a ticket directly from Arvixe.  ( www.abapspecialist.com )

 

seems error  "  Could not load file or assembly 'System.Web.Helpers' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040) "

 Answered to me ( by Jai Awasthi )

Arvixe answered " Since you can't really install packages onto the server instances, the way to solve this is to go into References for your project, find the reference to the library that it's complaining is missing, go into properties, then set Copy Local to True. Redeploy and you're all set.

does the file System.Web.Helpers.dll exist in your /bin folder at Arvixe?

It exists in the mojoportal package, make sure it was uploaded

    Yes, the file /bin folder. file exists in /bin folder... Checked... ( screen capture abapspecialist  /bin folder link : http://www.abapdanismani.com/binfile.png )

I would upload it again from the package, it sounds like the one in your bin folder is not the right version of the file

make sure your hosting is .NET 4.5, you may need to check with your host about that and ask them to move you to a server with .NET 4.5. Note however that it will still say version 4.0 under Administration > System Information because 4.5 is really like a service pak for 4.0.
