Gallery in post

Hi,

the first impression about mojoPortal was really good. Reason why I left my previous CMS was that I couldn't put a gallery into a post. I know this is possible in WordPress this way http://tinyurl.com/mbxxhax . Is it possible in mojo?

Thanks a lot, Martin

Re: Gallery in post

It is not currently possible to put a gallery inside a blog post, though one can certainly put as many images as one wants in the post and one could manually make a sort of gallery by putting thumbnails in that link to full size images but that would be tedious. One could also link to a gallery created using one of the included gallery features but it would not really be embedded in the post.

I can say that we are considering various ways that we could make that possible in a future release.

Re: Gallery in post

Just to note that it is possible to put galleries inside blog posts by using Skydrive, and Windows Live Writer makes this incredibly easy. It can create the gallery for you after selecting the images, and gives a variety of presentation styles. The user can then view the slide show, download images, etc.

Here's an example: http://www.breconfans.org.uk/photos-from-pen-y-fan-2013

I'm sure the same must be possible with Flickr and other similar web-based photo platforms.

Re: Gallery in post

nice tip on livewriter and skydrive! Doesn't seem like the gallery is embedded in the post since it jumps you to a the skydrive site in a new window when you click an image but it is still a pretty cool option until we can get around to a way to actually embed a gallery. The presentation of the gallery on the skydrive site is very nice.
