Re: Enterprise Library

Yes I am familiar with it. I've been using the Data Access Application Blocks and the ExceptionManagement Application blocks for a long time in my work before they rolled it all together in the enterprise library.

I'm looking into the licensing.

Re: Enterprise Library

I inquired with some licensing gurus about whether I could use the Enterpise Libraries from MS and it has been recommended to me not to use this in my project as the EULA is not compatible with the licensing of mojoPortal and someof the included projects.

I currently have no plans to use and really have no true need for any of it.

I have the data acces plumbing already in place so I don't need the data blocks

I'm using log4net so I don't need the exception blocks

Nothing else is really compelling or if it is, it can be easily done without the enterpise blocks so its not worth using it as it raises legal complications with licensing for mojoPortal
