Re: Blog frp

Hi,

I don't own an Android phone and have never tried one so I don't know much about what is supported in the web browser or what apps are available.

You will have to try for yourself to see what can be done or not.

I do know that on newer iphones and ipads the wysiwyg editors work in the web browser so you can edit or create posts. However iOS doesn't let you browse the file system so there is not a good way to upload photos from a web browser on iOS.

Another path to explore for possibilities is whether there are any good Wordpress clients for Android phone since mojoPortal can imitate Wordpress api to some degree. For example I have used the Blogsy app for iPad and it can upload photos from the photo stream on iOS. Maybe there are similar apps and capabilities for Android and maybe not.

Hope that helps,

Joe

Re: Blog frp

For info, I've tried two blogging apps for Windows Phone 8 that claimed to work with any metaweblog API blog: Writer and Blog Client. Neither succeeded (for me) in connecting or posting to a mojoPortal blog, though with very limited diagnostics ("connection failed" etc). The former app seemed powerful but chaotic, while the latter was very simplistic. I have contacted the Blog Client developer (no reply yet).

A search for metaweblogapi on the Android market showed three apps.
