Newsletters - "View in Browser" Link?

I'm setting up a newsletter template for a client, and other than #unsubscribe#, I haven't been able to locate a list of variables to use in the newsletter template, or a way to include a "view newsletter in browser" link which is common for many of the newsletters I receive. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it - thanks!

Re: Newsletters - "View in Browser" Link?

I asked similar questions about the tokens in this thread https://www.mojoportal.com/Forums/Thread.aspx?thread=10148&mid=34&pageid=5&ItemID=5

and the implication was that there are no more tokens at this time, but will be in future, at least for core profile properties.

Regarding viewing in browser, I had a quick look at this a while back as also want this feature. Each newsletter can be viewed with a URL like

http://www.mysite.com/eletter/LetterView.aspx?l=2a727d5b-6a14-4ef0-a825-641104a03225&letter=b0805d50-7d1b-4bdb-9dd1-3b0d6f113346

The first GUID seems to be the newsletter ID, the second one the edition, if there are (or could be) tokens for these, it would become possible to embed a link.  If this is not possible now, it's a definite feature request.

Re: Newsletters - "View in Browser" Link?

There already exists a token #viewaswebpage# its mentioned in the help link on the newsletter edit page. The Newsletter definition must be marked as allow archive view.

This is not a new token, its been there all along as far as I know.

Hope that helps,

Joe

Re: Newsletters - "View in Browser" Link?

Thanks, Joe - I honestly forgot to look for a "help" section while I was in there, so I didn't see it (it's been a long week). Thanks for pointing it out - I do like providing the option, given how varied various mail clients' support for viewing tends to be.

Any chance that the newsletter will support additional personalization, like the hashtags that are available for personalizing Invoice Pro, etc.? Or maybe you can introduce a Newsletter Pro plugin - I'd love to be able to offer that to my clients.
